Starlink is reportedly offering new customers discounts of up to 50% on Residential service in selected parts of the United States. The geographical restriction is central to the story: a headline percentage does not establish eligibility for every US address, or availability in Greece.
A November 5 report from Hacks.gr, attributing its findings to PCMag, describes Residential discounts of 30% or 50% depending on location. DaySec has not independently confirmed the reported city-by-city prices through Starlink’s checkout.
Separately, TeslaNorth reported a November 5 promotional email advertising 30% off Residential and Roam service in eligible US areas through November 30. Its account says the discounted pricing continues while the subscription remains active. That reporting does not independently establish the separate 50% Residential offer.
Check the specific offer’s duration
Starlink’s general promotional-pricing terms describe a different framework: selected new customers receive a discount for a fixed period, such as six or twelve months, before full pricing resumes. The company says available discounts appear when ordering for an eligible address.
Those general terms also limit the discount to one service line and say changing plans, cancelling service or suspension can end promotional pricing. They should not be treated as confirmation of the duration of every November offer.
The practical step is to review the actual order summary and attached terms before subscribing. Check the monthly service charge, any separate equipment costs, how long the reduction lasts and what happens after a plan change or interruption. Save that offer alongside the order confirmation. The reported percentages alone cannot settle the total bill or guarantee a permanent rate.
