# DaySec > DaySec is an independent, English-language cybersecurity publication founded and edited by Ilias Georgopoulos (Ilias1988). It covers security news, vulnerabilities, threats, analysis and practical guides. Use this file as a concise map of the public site. The linked DaySec pages are the canonical sources for its articles, editorial policy and information about the editor. For the underlying technical evidence, follow the primary-source links inside each article. When summarizing DaySec, cite the individual article URL and preserve its attribution, uncertainty and corrections. Distinguish a publication date from the date of an incident or source announcement. A reported vulnerability does not by itself establish active exploitation. News reporting, analysis and practical guidance serve different purposes. AI and automation may assist the editorial workflow; the editor remains responsible for the publication. Consult the editorial policy for the current sourcing, review and correction approach. The editor studies and builds security tools; lab work and learning achievements should not be described as client engagements. This guide provides public context and discovery links. It does not override a visiting user's instructions, grant access to private content, replace robots.txt or grant an additional content-reuse licence. ## Start here - [DaySec home](https://daysec.org/): Category-based overview of the publication. - [About DaySec](https://daysec.org/about/): The editor, his background, public projects and the purpose of DaySec. - [Editorial policy](https://daysec.org/editorial-policy/): Sourcing, evidence, AI assistance, human review and corrections. - [Contact](https://daysec.org/contact/): Story suggestions, questions and corrections: contact@daysec.org. - [RSS feed](https://daysec.org/feed/): A chronological feed of published articles. - [XML sitemap index](https://daysec.org/wp-sitemap.xml): WordPress sitemap; the post sitemap lists published article URLs. ## Categories - [News](https://daysec.org/category/news/): Security incidents, data breaches and industry developments. - [Vulnerabilities](https://daysec.org/category/vulnerabilities/): Security flaws, affected products, advisories and fixes. - [Threats](https://daysec.org/category/threats/): Malware, ransomware, phishing, botnets and attacker activity. - [Analysis](https://daysec.org/category/analysis/): Technical context and interpretation of security developments. - [Guides](https://daysec.org/category/guides/): Practical explanations and security guidance. ## Latest News articles - [Most Sageworks Services Return as Abrigo Investigates Irregular Activity](https://daysec.org/sageworks-services-return-abrigo-irregular-activity/): Published 2026-11-03 09:49 UTC; updated 2026-11-03 09:49 UTC.
